Welcome to Bistrot Bilou

Bilou is Barcelona’s new bistro. Located in the city center, it is the perfect place to enjoy wines, dishes and your gourmet finger food.

Bistrot Bilou is the place to have an aperitif, dinner or spend nights with friends and family. But first of all it is a story of passion for authentic cuisine, wines and local products with a touch of nostalgia for good moments shared in this place of more than 40 years of history.

This bistro is a bubble of authenticity in a cosmopolitan city. In this way, not only people come to drink some wines and eat some tables, but also come to discover seasonal products cooked at the moment. It is a perfect place to share an afterwork or enjoy an authentic place between colleagues or with your partner in the heart of Barcelona.

Bilou is opened for Lunch from Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 3:30pm and for Dinner from 7pm to 11pm and is located at 85 Pau Claris Street.

After dinner, if you want to have a cocktail, ask for Bilou’s secret and let yourself be surprised.

Who are we

Bistrot Bilou is the latest creation of Bobby’s Grup, a group dedicated to opening up spaces of gourmet happiness in Barcelona. Bistrot Bilou is run by Eric Basset, Chef and Dany Martin, Cocktail Maker.

Why Bilou? Dany and Eric have chosen this name with a French twist as a memento of their childhood as Bilou was Eric’s nickname when he was a child.

The Bistrot is the name of the type of restaurant that best defines the character and the ‘savoir faire’ of both.

The location

The renovation of the restaurant, by the hand of Pedro Scatarella, is the perfect combination of the authentic materials of yesteryear together with the authenticity of the flavor of the current products.
